A quick and hearty snack :)
- Segment and slice orange (I use mandarins) into 3 pieces per segment. Place into bowl.
- In a separate bowl, nuke oats in 1/2 cup water for 45 seconds. Stir. Nuke for another 20 seconds. Stir. Add about 1/3 cup water, or enough to make the consistency 'soupy'.
- Top orange segments with yogurt, add oat mixture, and stir to mix. Enjoy!
I always have vanilla yogurt on hand for smoothies, but decided I'd like to try this recipe using an orange flavor! Also used 2 small, very tasty orange I had ~ Quickly made for a GREAT tasting, different breakfast! Next time I try the mandarins! Thanks for posting this EASY recipe!
