Perfect combination of goodness all wrapped up into one dish, seriously, couldn't be easier, or more yummy! I used whole milk and a mixture of homemade chicken broth. Fresh mushrooms graced this dish, as well as little white pearl onions. I am beyond happiness with peas, and this didn't let me down. Lovely presentation and great recipe! Made for *Everyday is a Holiday* February 2010

This was such a delicious dish. I love frozen peas they are my favorite. I had used chicken broth instead of water and I mixed half and half with some milk. It was such a nice creamy flavor and will definitely make this again. It is also great reheated the next day too. I threw in the thawed peas while it was simmering with the milk and it was cooked perfectly, so it made this dish even quicker to make. I will be making this yummy dish again. Thanks for sharing your recipe SarahBeth.

This is delicious. I loved this easy recipe. I used chicken broth. And omitted the nutmeg. Thanks SarahBeth :) Made for Holiday tag

Great tasting peas. As DH isn't and onion fan I used some very thinly sliced leek in place of them. The whole thing start to finish took closer to 15 mins than 30, but then, I just added the frozen peas directly into the skillet. It worked perfectly and saved washing another pot :D. Thanks for a side I'll make again, we love peas.

I let my hubby make this for dinner tonight. I admit we had it as creamed peas over toast instead of a side. He just increased the liquid to make it saucier. We omitted the nutmeg, but I would definetly add it if we were eating this as a side. A nice, simple, good dish. Made for Everyday Holiday Tag.
