The only other recipes I found for creamed corn using cream cheese required a crockpot. This one is done on the stovetop and can be ready in 10 minutes. (stir in a dash or two of hot sauce for an extra kick)

  1. Cook cream cheese and milk in medium saucepan on medium heat until cream cheese is melted, stirring frequently.
  2. Add cream-style corn and corn kernels; stir.
  3. Cook 4 minutes or until heated through, stirring occasionally.
  4. Spoon into serving dish.
  5. Sprinkle with cheese and green onions.
