Thank you for sharing your recipe. I really wanted to love these waffles, but unfortunately they didn't work for me. I'm sorry to say, that I found the crispy waffles to be very greasy, while the butter flavor in the waffles was overwhelming.
These made for a great morning treat especially since I love waffles!!! I made 1/2 of the recipe and used my kitchenaid do the whipping of the cream, so it was quick. I then followed the directions and folded in the flour and then the ice water and then into the fridge. After an hour I folded in the 1/4 cup of melted butter. These come out super crisp and my only problem is that they were very greasy!! I think next time I would cut the butter in half. Thanks for sharing the recipe. Made for PRMR tag game.
