These peas are so yummy! Sweet and creamy!
- 1 (15 ounce) can sweet peas, drained
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1⁄2 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 dash salt and pepper
- Melt butter over medium high heat, and drain peas.
- Add all remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to medium low and simmer for 10 minutes, or until cream has thickened.
- Stir occasionally.
i loved these peas so. Quick and easy way to mix up a plain veggy! my daughter loved it!
I gave this recipe 2 stars. My family thought these peas were just alright nothing special. I followed the recipe as directed since it's such a small amount of sugar. I don't think I'd make these again. Thanks christine (internetnut)
I thickened a little with some flour and water and we had the peas and gravy over boiled potatoes and oh what a comfort fest! We loved them and will have many times this winter!
