  • In a saucepan, melt margarine over medium-high heat.
  • Reduce heat to medium-low and add flour, slowly blending continuously until it gels.
  • Add milk and continue to blend (do not let the mixture boil).
  • Add sour cream and bring to a simmer.
  • Remove from heat and add wine.
  • Return to the heat and simmer to desired thickness.
