ingredients
- 1 (4 ounce) can whole green chilies
- 1 chipotle chile (optional)
- 1 1⁄2 cups chicken broth (or 1 can)
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 1⁄3 cup heavy cream
- salt
- fresh ground black pepper
directions
- Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and puree until smooth.
- Heat in a saucepan and serve immediatly.

I don`t understand how this can come from Suzanne Somers book Eat, Cheat, and Melt the Fat Away, and fits the Somersize food plan. It does have a bit of fat! But Boy Is IT GOOD! I added chipotle in adobo sauce and cilantro for freshness. This is easy and very quick! I`m thinking that this would be lower in fat and healthier if you replace the heavy cream with yogurt, which would be more refreshing and use low fat cream cheese. All in all this is great!
