I just googled and stumbled onto this recipe, because I wanted an easy cream gravy to go with my chicken strips. I think I undercooked the flour because it still tasted slightly under-done but regardless, this recipe is fantastic! I added a few sprinkles of onion powder seasoning and it was perfect. This one is a keeper!
I've tried to make a good gravy for years and all I got was lumps. Tried this recipe today and it turned out GREAT. Was so impressed with myself. THANKS
My 14 year old son hit me up with a late night craving for chicken tenders and gravy. I have always made gravy from a store bought mix. Never again since finding this recipe. My son devoured it and was scraping the bottom of the bowl. A definite keeper!
This is exactly how I make gravy most of the time. The only addition is a couple teaspoons of Cavender's greek seasoning.
I chose this recipe because it's the only one I had all the ingredients for. I added half a seasoning packet from a bag of Ramen...which gave it a little more taste. =)
I thought it made a really good gravy. I liked it because it didn't use drippings. Thanks for the recipe.
