OMG, this is awesome!! When I tried the cream, I nearly fainted, it was so good! I don't eat real cream often, but in this case I'm so glad I did! DH said "five stars" immediately after the first bite. Thanks so much for sharing, I'll make it again often.<br/>Made for For your Consideration.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 34 cup oatmeal, raw
  • 12 cup almonds, sliced
  • 1 12 cups whipping cream
  • 5 tablespoons honey
  • 4 tablespoons Irish whiskey
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice


  1. Using a baking tray with baking paper on it, toast the oatmeal and almonds at 300 Fahrenheit for 5 to 10 minutes, mixing repeatedly, making sure not to let the mixture burn.
  2. Whip the cream but not overly so and stir in the honey.
  3. Next, mix in the whiskey, oats, almonds and lemon juice.
  4. Mix well and then pour the mixture into long serving glasses.
  5. Chill and serve cold.
