I'm singin', "Ain't no Scrooge in me. Ain't no Scrooge in me"! I did adapt the recipe slightly from my usual sour cream-topped standby. I doubled the recipe to make 24, baking just short (about 2 minutes) of the 20 minute baking time--turning off oven. I had prepared, in the meantime, 2 cups sour cream with a 1/2 cup sugar, stirring to dissolve sugar. After waiting about a minute or so for the puffed cakes to sink slightly, I topped each with the sweetened sour cream mixture, dividing evenly among the 24 cakes. Immediately, I replaced the cakes into the already heated oven for an additional 2 minutes to set the sour cream topping. A fruit topping adds a festive touch covering the imperfections that naturally arise during baking. These tasty treats will make a believer out of ya for sure!

I made these delicious little tarts for my niece's senior music recital at Gettysburg College. They were a BIG HIT. I made them along with a few other recipes from Zaar and they all came out wonderfully! I used the little tiny mini cups, and bought the mini Nilla Vanilla Wafers. They fit in the bottom beautifully, although during baking some of them rose to the top. It didn't matter though, as I put canned strawberries and blueberries on them and they looked adorable. The pics didn't come out the greatest, but I will post it so you can see. Thanks so much for this recipe Sharlene. I saw Paula make them and knew they would be delicious! Linda

Paula can do no wrong in my eyes! This was great and can be made using other toppings. I put together a homemade pineapple kiwi pie filling that I put on top that my friends and family won't stop requesting. Thanks for posting!

I made these last night for our office Christmas party. Very easy to make. This is definitely a keeper. Thank you for sharing! I wanted to add that this was a hit at the Christmas party. One of the few dishes (and only dessert) with no leftovers. Some even went back for seconds! I kept hearing Mmmmmmm when they put some in their mouth. THANK YOU! Note: my neighbor, who happens to bake a lot, suggested adding meringue to the mix to lighten it.

This recipe was AMAZING. It was by far one of the easiest things i've ever made, and one of the most delicious. I did leave them in about 7-8 minutes longer because they were still undone in the middle but by the time i took them out some of them sunk so i may have left them in longer than needed. But i definately recommend trying these out if your looking at it. I will be making these again!

I've been making these for practically every function I attend since finding them in a magazine - there are NEVER any left! People rant and rave, and beg for the recipe (they can hardly believe it's so easy). If I make them too far in advance, they mysteriously disappear from my fridge, with my husband and me accusing one another about who illegally ate more than whom. :) Thanks for posting! This recipe is a keeper!

Oh yeah! 5* for sure. My son loved these. I made a few changes out of necessity. I only had 1 1/2 bricks of cream cheese so I put in 1/2 C of 1% cottage cheese and reduced the sugar to 3/4 C. I had to cook about 5 minutes longer but that is probably because my filling was a bit thinner. Topped with cherry pie filling. Thx for posting this easy recipe.

Found this recipe in TOH years ago and have been making them every since. My family and friends love these. I used to make them for my kids on George Washington's Birthday with Cherry Pie Filling for fun.

These are WONDERFUL snacks. I put blueberry pie filling on top and it was absolutely indulging. They make great desserts for a small party, which is a success!

I made these after I saw Paula make them on her show. I used the mini-muffin pans and they still worked out great! They're so easy, yet so tasty.

These are a real treat! Super pretty and ridiculously easy. I served on a cake stand along with 'whatever floats your boat' brownies and some clusters of grapes. It looked fabulous and tasted even better, go Paula!!!

I made these to take to the annual family Thanksgiving get-together, as an alternative to the usual Pumpkin pie. They were delicious and a huge hit. I have never made cheesecake before, but this recipe was so easy to make. I used cherry and blueberry pie fillings for the toppings. This definitely falls into the "keeper" category!

OMG! These tasted just like baby cheesecakes. Everyone loved them! Although.. I forgot half of my audience were diabetics (oops) next time I think I'll try Splenda instead of sugar.

My wife and I made these. She had 4 of them eaten before they even cooled. We use the blueberry pie filling.

Yumm-o! I served these for a baby shower that I threw and there weren't any left over! I doubled the recipe and I made 1/2 blueberry and 1/2 peach. They had a very nice presentation and couldn't be any easier to make. Thanks for posting!! :)

I love these tarts!!! I'm also a fan of Paula Deen and made this when I first saw it on FoodNetwork. Everyone always asks for the recipe, and it's so simple! It's great for parties or potlucks. Try using the new silpat cupcake liners (lightly spray the liners?). Besides that it is a little difficult to get the cream cheese tarts out of the paper liners, who cares, it still looks great topped with pie filling and yummy ofcourse!
