I tried this at a party years ago and I was hooked. I chuckled when I saw this recipe posted because I'd forgotten all about it. Thanks for reminding me how simple and good this is! I love it served with Wheat Thins.
I have used this as a quick appetizer for years. It is so good and most men love it.
the Supreme way to serve this is with a bit of orange marmalade layered on top of the cream cheese before you pour the pick -a-peppa... served with triscuits!
What a wonderful surprise!! It had people raving at Post 7 in Chapala, Jalisco, Mexico. I used the suggestion of Chef 494795. Total props to you Clarebear!!!!! T.
This is an oldie but a goodie! Also, for a change try Tiger Sauce on cream cheese (it's in a bottle in the same section at the grocery store). It's a bit sweeter but has a kick to it!
Had this for the first time in the mid 70's I was hooked for life...really tangy, not so pretty slam dunk!
A legend in my household. Can't go wrong with this one! Love it!
This was my childhood "pate" when the grown ups were eating the good stuff! I serve this to my girlfriends when we get together, it's a hit!!!!!!!!!! Glad to see it online. I love it with good, hearty crackers, such as cracked wheat.
A classic and still one of the best (not to mention easiest). Super yummy!
This is a great appetizer. It is easy to make and tastes great. I use Wheat Thins for the crackers. I always have these ingredients on hand for a unexpected snack.
