My Mother makes this icing for her pumpkin rolls. It's easy and not as sweet as some I have tasted.
- Cream Butter and cheese. Add Sugar slowly till well blended.
- If you would like Chocolate add 1/4 cup hershey cocoa to dry mix before adding cream cheese.
Forget the cake! I used this icing on some double chocolate cookies I'd made, & that worked out wonderfully, not that it wouldn't have been just as good on a cake! I'm not usually a big fan of cream cheese frosting because it is so sweet (in spite of my own sweet tooth!), so this was a wonderful change of pace for me! Thanks for posting the recipe!
