  1. This was a great basic Cuisinart Ice Cream maker recipe. I read the reviews and also changed the recipe: 1 cup of cream, 1/2 cup milk, and 1 tbs vanilla. I also added 1/2 cup marachino cherry halves, chopped pecans and pieces of a graham cracker crush. My quality control department (husband) announced it terrific!

  2. i used strawberry cream cheese and added a cup of strawberries it was so creamy and i loved the way flavored cream cheese added so much

  3. I doubled the heavy cream, added crushed baker's chocolate and cinnamon. One warning, though. When I put this in my Cuisinart ice cream maker, even with extra liquid, it was a bit too stout for the motor. Watch it carefully as it churns and remove it if the machine sounds like it's straining. As for taste and texture? YUMMY!

  4. Yumm! We substituted vanilla for the lemon juice as well, and this time used 1 C cream and 1/2 C milk. Very creamy and yummy!!! Thanks!

  5. Excellent, quick, and very tasty. I have made this successfully with light cream cheese and 1.5 cups of 1% milk (omitting the cream altogether). I also used vanilla extract in place of the lemon. Thanks!
