- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1⁄4 cup shortening (white in color)
- 1 1⁄2 lbs confectioners' sugar, sifted
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 -2 tablespoon milk, as needed
- Combine cream cheese and shortening in a large bowl and mix at medium speed until light and fluffy.
- Add sugar and extract, continue to mix. While mixing add the milk 1 tspn at a time until creamy consistency is achieved.
