I have loved cream cheese cookies since I was little. When I found this recipe in an old 4-H cookbook I was so excited. They are wonderful little cookies that I make often . I like them for Christmas as part of my tray also.

  1. Cream shortening, add cream cheese, blend well.
  2. Beat in sugar, then egg yolks and vanilla.
  3. Beat in flour.
  4. Makes a thick dough.
  5. Roll out on lightly floured board.
  6. Cut in circles or shapes.
  7. Bake at 350 for 10 to 12 minutes.
