This is very good and rich! Made with marshmallow creme and cooked according to the desert directions (made in AZ at mom's house). Was very soft set, could have been partially due to the 95 degree temp. Will make as part of my holiday gift trays! Made for Fall 2009 PAC.
This is a no fail recipe! I made three different batches by altering the chocolate and nuts. The first was semi-sweet chocolate with walnuts, the second white chocolate with toasted almound and the third was peanut butter flavored chips with spanish peanuts for the nuts. Each one turned out perfect and arranged in Christmas baskets made great gifts for those hard to buy for in my extended family. Thanks a bunch Southern Polar Bear.
This is the same recipe that my family has made for over 30 yrs. with the exception of the "butter flavoring"...our recipe says: "vanilla, or flavoring of your choice"....It is an excellent fudge recipe... you can't mess this one up if you follow the directions.
