I made this recipe as written, and it did not come out like a pie. My friend made hers with apple pie filling and she tossed in the garbage. Mine was made with cherry pie filling. The center is more like a soup! The flavor was good. I think this has more of a texture of a "crisp", and could be served with ice cream maybe? I doubt I that I will make it again.

I made this recipe while growing up and learning to cook. It originally appeared on the back of a bag of flour. So nice to see someone else remembered it too. I think this is a fun quick recipe.

Tried this today and it turned out great and the smell as it was baking just filled the house. This would be great with any pie filling, going to try cherry next time. Thanks for the great recipe.

The crust was very thick on the edges & very thin on the bottom & stuck to the pie pan, The presentation was not attractive at all & the taste was very bland. I followed the directions exactly. Using apple pie filling.

So simple to make, yet so good! I used apple pie filling, but I can't wait to try this recipe out with other pie filling flavors. The crazy crust reminded me of a cobbler crust, but on bottom. My family and I enjoyed this dessert and I will definitely make this again. I love blueberries, so I'll be giving that a try next! Thanks Marie for another great recipe!
