Cranberries and blueberries and pie - what a great combo. From the Library of Congress' Pinelands Folk Project booklet titled Cranberries. I haven't tried it yet. Cooking time is just a guess.
- 2 1⁄2 cups cranberries, chopped
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 2 pie crusts
- 5 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 2⁄3 cups blueberries
- 1 1⁄4 cups sugar
- Mix berries.
- Combine sugar, cornstarch, and salt and add to berries, mixing well.
- Put bottom pie crust into pie pan and spread mixture on top.
- Put top crust on.
- Bake at 400 degrees until bubbling and nicely browned.
