I like cranberries and I like tart but this was too tart for my tastes. I added freshly squeezed orange juice to balance the flavors better. Once I added the orange juice, the flavor was enhanced considerably. One thing is for certain: very healthy! This is more a slushy than a smoothie and I found it much easier to use crushed ice and not cubes. Agave nectar substituted for artificial sweetener. Reviewed for Veg Tag #19-2010.

Very nice drink with a definite punch of TART. It is more of an slushie/icee drink than a smoothie with the use of the ice cubes but refreshing in the end. I modified this to one drink and received 1 and a half large servings and used crushed ice from the freezer so adjusted the measurement to half of what was written to provide some allowance of space. I think I would enjoy this more with some orange juice added so next time I think I'll go half and half on with Cranberry & OJ and that will probably help with the tartness too. Made for your win in Tic Tac Toe 2011.

Yummy tart but I did add extra honey for the sweetener. I think this makes more than 2 servings because I used what I had which was 1/4 of the recipe and it made a glass worth. I used a organic cranberry cocktail, fresh cold cranberries and some spring water instead of ice. This is good to prevent or clear up a UTI. Made for Newest Zaar Tag (Winter).
