    Sydney Mike's Note:

From the 2007 cookbook, More Smoothies for Life, the original recipe calls for frozen berries -- At different times I've used both frozen cranberries AND frozen mixed berries, both resulting in great drinks! The cranberries do make for a somewhat tart drink, but we enjoy it!

I enjoyed this treat for a morning light breakfast. I added regular sugar to taste(maybe a tad more than directions called for). Thanks! made for Adopt a Veggie tag.

I like cranberries and I like tart but this was too tart for my tastes. I added freshly squeezed orange juice to balance the flavors better. Once I added the orange juice, the flavor was enhanced considerably. One thing is for certain: very healthy! This is more a slushy than a smoothie and I found it much easier to use crushed ice and not cubes. Agave nectar substituted for artificial sweetener. Reviewed for Veg Tag #19-2010.

Very good smoothie which I enjoyed, but next time I will use a lot less ice as it was a bit too slushy for me. Thanks for sharing!
