So easy for your Christmas dinner!

Made this on Christmas Eve for my special addition to Christmas dinner. Well, I had to sample a sip of the liquid once I mixed it all together, then again while it was simmering away. As it heated, the house smelt spectacular...my daughter walked into the kitchen and said "Wow! did you know the house smells like Christmas?!". Once it had jelled I moved it off the heat and let it cool slightly, then I made the mistake of dipping into it. I ate about 1/2 the recipe before I put it in a container for tomorrow. Thank goodness I am the only one in the family who loves cranberry sauce or I would have had to make a second batch. All I can say is "Merry Christmas to me". Thanks Tis for sharing this wonderful recipe...I will no longer purchase the stuff in the can. Made and reviewed for Christmas 2011 Make My Recipe Tag.
- 375 g frozen cranberries
- 1 cup fresh orange juice
- 1 teaspoon finely grated fresh ginger
- 1 teaspoon finely grated orange zest
- 1⁄4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1⁄2 cup crushed pineapple
- 1⁄2 cup honey
