Ingredients Nutrition

  • 12 ounces cranberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 34 cup sugar
  • 14 cup red onion, finely diced
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced


  1. In a saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar and ¾ cup water.
  2. Bring to a boiling, stirring occasionally until cranberries pop and mixture thickens slightly, 5-7 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and let stand 30 minutes, until cool.
  4. Stir in red onion, cilantro and jalapeno pepper. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
