Tangy and sweet at the same time. I had a bit left over - it was PERFECT over vanilla ice cream!
- 1 cup sugar or 1 cup Splenda sugar substitute
- 1 cup water
- 12 ounces cranberries (fresh or frozen)
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
- Combine sugar and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Add cranberries and orange zest, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat, cool, cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
