Had to defrost the freezer and found a package of cranberries. The day before I had found this recipe in an old cookbook. So why not try it? Served it with some ice-cream, yummy.

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Grease a baking dish with butter.
  3. Sift flour, soda and salt together.
  4. Mix water and molasses and add to sifted dry ingredients.
  5. Fold in cranberries.
  6. Pour mixture in the prepared dish.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Serve warm or slightly cooled.
