Delicious and so refreshing! I used frozen cranberries as that was all I could find. I did cheat on step 6 and used my Cuisinart Ice Cream maker/frozen insert to finish this off in about 25 minutes instead of freezing in a tray. Will definitely make again, and thanks for a great recipe! Made for the Comfort Cafe.

yes, this is really good and easy to make! even with 2 cups sugar it could have used even more however my DH simply loved this! I use frozen cranberries, thanks for sharing Syd!...Kitten
Yum! This is nice... the first time I have made cranberries into anything like this before, and its a pleasant surprise (as a new taste experience) that it went so well. I am not exactly the world's biggest icecream fan, so made this mostly for DH and the kids, who liked it well enough. There were no raves from them but they were happy to eat it, so that's a thumbs up, I'd say. It is a new taste for us so I think that a bag of my cranberries may well be coming out of the freezer during the warm weather of summer and will go very well after an evening BBQ meal.
