Yummy! I added extra cranberries and a few drops of orange oil and they were excellent. They were very sweet, so I'll probably use less sugar next time. And there WILL be a next time!! Simple and different, they taste very gourmet. Great recipe. Thanks for sharing!
These were nothing special. I thought they were too sweet. I used orange flavored cranberries and Guittard 60% cocoa chips. I won't make again.
I didn't want to give stars to this one only because I left out the key ingredient of craisins since I didn't have any on hand and needed dessert NOW lol. But even without they were really good! I ended up making them a bit big I guess because I got 26 cookies from 1 batch. They taste a lot like those orange filled chocolates in the assorted candies boxes.
I was searching for a recipe after falling in love w/ a similar cookie that is a mix from Homemade Gourmet. Your's is better!! I doubled the batch and used white chocolate chips instead of dark. Thanks for a great recipe Mirj!!!

Perfect, tasty, crispy cookie! We loved the orange in it and I actually used 2 small oranges rind, wonderful flavor! I might try these with white chocolate, but that is just a personal preference.
I made this cookie for the holiday feast-day table at work. I used fresh cranberries, roughly chopped, with no problem. To gild the lily, I made a glaze with powdered sugar/milk/cointreau. These are a very strong 4 and 1/2 stars!
