Your recipe for cranberry muffins is just great! The muffins are wonderfully tasty & addicting, to say the least, but then we love cranberries, & I have now stocked my freezer with a lot of bag of 'em to last me through the year! Oh so perfect! My family loved these (extended family during Thanksgiving too)! Delightfully light, moist and just perky with cranberry goodness. I received 12 large muffins and then 8 mini muffins this time around! The addition of the sugar/nutmeg sprinkle on top just intensifies my love for these muffins. Actually making another batch today because we loved them so much. Thanks for sharing this gem in Please Review My Recipe tag game.

These were moist and light. I put two muffin tins out and filled 24 cups easily; although, referring to the previous comment, I did even the batter out among the 24 cups before baking. They came out average-sized, which was fine. I did not have a vanilla bean in the house, so I substituted 1 tsp. vanilla extract, which worked for our taste buds. We are cranberry-happy in our family, and these muffins definitely were a big hit. Great recipe!

Simple and delicious. I followed the directions as written except for adding a little cinnamon to the topping. The one downside was only getting 12 muffins (my pan is normal sized and I could have filled the cups more), I was bringing them to work and there wasn't enough for everyone. My vanilla bean was a bit on the dry side so the vanilla didn't stand out more than usual but that didn't matter. They had a nice flavor and texture, the cranberries were just right and the topping gave the a nice sweet crunch. Made for Best of 2010 Tag

The vanilla bean gives this fantastic flavor!! I kept the cranberries whole. I made a half recipe to make one loaf based on Rita's review (baked 30 minutes), but it was a tiny loaf, so I think next time I wil make a whole recipe for one loaf.

I loved these! I did make 2 loaf cakes in place of the muffins baked for 60 minutes. I also added candied ginger. I Love the sugar and vanilla method in this recipe which delivers excellent vanilla flavor. Thanks!
