I found this on Eating Well.com and made it for Christmas dinner. It was excellent and my husband thinks it's the best fruit pie he's ever had. Next time I will reduce the amount of sugar on the crust as it was a little too sweet. It's a tender and buttery short bread crust that complements the tart-sweet of the filling and the very sweet of the meringue.
