Have not tried this but have heard that it is great. It's from Marla Ashmore via her friend Shirley. Putting it here for safe keeping.
- 1 (12 ounce) can frozen cranberry juice concentrate
- 1 (12 ounce) can frozen limeade concentrate
- 3 cups 7-up
- 5 cups water
- 1 cup tequila
- Combine all ingredients in a freezer container. Stir every few hours. When ready to serve use a potato masher to break up chunks. Serve slush in margarita glasses.
Who needs cranberry sauce when there's cranberry margs?!? I changed it slightly... I had lime margarita mix and cranberry juice which I mixed in a pitcher with 7-up and then ppl could just put the amount of tequila (or vodka or rum!) they wanted in a glass and add the mix. Thanks! This is a great margarita! The cranberry and the lime are perfect together, sweet and tart and great with the tequila. I did think they were a little tame and replaced one of the cups of water with a cup of tequila. Thanks for sharing the recipe! Made for Spring Pick-A-Chef 2012
