Cranberry Maple Syrup

This is wonderful to have on hand during the winter months. Very easy to prepare and makes any waffle, pancake, or slice of french toast extra special. It's from "Creme de Colorado", one of my favorite junior league cookbooks.

i love this! i had a bunch of whole cranberries left over from thanksgiving and made this but without the apple juice.. i substitute it with applesauce and a bit of water. it was soooooo good!! i also had less maple syrup since my familys not used to sweets. very lovely!

Directions

  1. In medium saucepan, combine juice, cranberries, cinnamon, and cloves, and simmer 15 minutes or until cranberries pop.
  2. Add maple syrup, and simmer for an additional five minutes.
  3. Serve warm.
