This is a fruit dip recipe that I've had on file for decades [well, several, anyway!].
- 1 cup vanilla yogurt
- 2⁄3 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
- 1⁄2 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1⁄4 teaspoon lemon juice
- Mix all the ingredients & chill.
- Serve with apple wedges, banana slices & other fruit.
Oh so eassy, and most important, A DELIGHTFUL dip we enjoyed with banana slices during the super bowl. Great great flavoring here too. Made for 1-2-3 hits.
Delicious dip! I made half a recipe but used a 6 oz container of vanilla nonfat yogurt. I really liked that this had lemon zest instead of orange like many cranberry recipes do. I could eat the dip by itself. :D Thanks for the great recipe, Syd!
This was pretty good. Tangy and refreshing. Maybe could have used a little sugar, but that is just personal taste so I am still giving this 5 stars because I will be making it again! Thanks Sydney Mike for posting this! Made for Newest Zaar Tag. :)
