Cranberry Lemon Cookies

These are fast and easy, my favorite combo! They have a pleasant tartness that makes them a nice change from overly sweet cookies, and they only require 3 ingredients!

  1. Combine the cake mix with the cranberry sauce. If the batter seems too thick, add up to 4 TB of the applesauce.
  2. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes, allowing less time for smaller cookies and more time for larger cookies.

Loved the taste of these cookies! We were eating them as they came out of the oven! The only addition I made to the recipe was to add the zest of a lemon. Will be making these again. Thnx for posting, Chef MB.

Made up some of my usual cranberry sauce with frozen berries, some orange zest & a few other things, then went on making these VERY TASTY TREATS! That the cookies were a little 'cakey' didn't bother me at all & they were a nice variation to my recent cookie/candy bake sale! Very well recieved, & the recipe is a definite keeper for me! [Tagged, made & reviewed for one of my adoptees in the current Pick-A-Chef]
