Just plain old DELICIOUS!! I love the adaptation from the mix in a jar recipe. Worked perfectly. My yield was about 60 cookies though, not 36 as stated in this recipe, and the original mix in a jar recipe. No problems there - my hubby loves them!! I do too although they may not be the best 'breakfast choice' :o)
I only had fresh cranberries on hand so I chopped them up and they worked nicely. I did add 1/2 tsp orange extract to the dough since as another reviewer noted orange and cranberry go well together. It gave the cookie a nice subtle hint of orange without overpowering.
I too added about 1/4 cup of additional oatmeal and baked for about 16 minutes due to the moisture in the fresh cranberries. A really wonderful cookie bursting with flavor. Thanks for sharing.
This cookie was good but not quite what I had expected. I think next time I will add more Oats to the mixture and maybe some spices.
Good recipe, but they were lacking a bit in flavor for my tastes. I made the following modifications: used 2 cups oats instead of 1 cup, added 1/2 cup golden raisins to the 1 cup of cranberries, then soaked them in orange juice and rum overnight, added zest of one orange, added 1/2 tsp orange extract, added cinnamon, nutmeg, and ground cloves. Added a lot more depth of flavor to the cookies.
These are really great cookies. Easy to make. I didn't add nuts, we don't really like nuts in cookies and they were still very good. I got more cookies from the dough, 53, and I had to bake mine longer, 11 minutes.
I received the ingredients in a jar (minus the eggs, vanilla, and butter) for Christmas. I just made them and they are EXCELLENT. I had to find the recipe! The ingredients were so pretty in the jar that I plan to make some up and give them out as gifts.
These cookies are sooooo good! Even people who dont normally like cranberries cant stop eating them!

Used applesauce for the butter and egg beaters, no nuts. I'm kind of lazy tonight so I poured the batter into a greased cake pan, baked, cooled then cut into bars. Absolutely delicious! Hubby who hates cranberries ate more of these than I could count and my little girl ran off with a handful too. Very good will be making again, thanks!
