This is really tasty! I have made a similar recipe using grape jelly and chili sauce, but this is not as sweet. I like the addition of cumin and may add more next time! I used frozen pre-cooked meatballs and this was super easy and fast. Kept warm in a crockpot.
Made for Thanksgiving 2009. I put these out as part of my appetizers before Thanksgiving dinner. They were a different twist for an appetizer and everyone who tried them enjoyed them. I used your meatball recipe (#8060) to prepare them as suggested. I plan on making them again in the future. Thanks for posting!!!!!
GREAT! GREAT! GREAT!! True! There were gone in split second time too! Served in a ScanPan chafing dish, worked for me! GREAT for entertaining, breakfast, lunch AND tea! DEFINATE keeper, SO easy to do, And is not too hot as to not be "kid friendly" too! THANKS!
This is so easy and so good - I used an Asian sweet chili sauce and then just added unsweetened dried cranberries - The result was wonderful spicy tasty meatballs served with roasted garlic pasta and corn with a kick. Lovely dinner thaks
Our family loves meatballs for dinner. So I'm always looking for ways to spruce them up with differendt sauces. This was a hit! The kids loved them, even my picky daughter. You get 5 starts for that!!
This is actually delicious! I made my own vegetarian meatballs and used this as a sauce ... served with some mashed sweet potatoes and kale. Heavenly. My omnivore bf loved this. I've already made it twice. Thanks for sharing!!!
I did this in the crcokpot as fingerfood for a party. I used sweet chilli sauce but forgot the cayenne, was still great and Oh so easy, just what I like. Thanks for posting!
Excellent recipe, thank you for sharing! I love recipes that are simple yet tasty, and this on fits the bill. I followed the recipe exactly as written, using frozen, store-bought meat balls. Made it for a holiday party and got a lot of compliments.
