Cranberry Chocolate Oatmeal Bars

"These unique bars are low on sugar and high on “yum,” not to mention the great contrast in flavors and textures. With quick oats, whole wheat flour, applesauce, and fruit, you could even call them a healthy dessert! Recipe is from Light and Tasty’s April/May 2005 issue. I had totally forgotten about this recipe, and I really want to try it…so here it goes on Zaar, kept safely and neatly until I have a chance to make these bars!"

My most important characteristic is this: I am a child of God through the gracious work of Jesus Christ! I love to be with my family and friends. Interests? Writing, reading, cooking, dancing, teaching, splashing in puddles...I am an English teacher, wannabe children's author, and a bit of a health nut...and I can't stand high pitched squeaky noises.
