Cranberries in Port Wine Sauce

This recipe is based on one my midwife, Yelena, described to me on the phone 10 years ago. I have adjusted it to suit my family's tastes.

I made this last Thanksgiving and put it on my Tofurky. It was amazing! Even my husband, who hates cranberrie sauce, loved it.

Ingredients Nutrition


  1. Combine all ingredients in saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 5-10 minutes till cranberries "pop.".
  3. Serve Warm over turkey or pork (if you can stop yourself from eating it all up with a spoon right from the pan)!
