This is a variation of a classic Martini (and Gibson). It is my father's recipe that made it's way around many military circles from the 60's through the early 80's. The better quality of liquor, the better the drink. Not sure what it is about these, but they have a tendency to sneak up on you. Be careful. :)
- Pour all ingredients into cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Shake vigorously.
- Strain into frosty martini glass.
- Garnish with both olives and onions.
