The name of this cookie had me expecting them to taste like cracker jacks. That was not the case, but they sure were a "cracker jack" of a cookie! I added some coconut and loved that. I love that it makes a large batch. I used half this week and have the other half in the freezer for a busy week when I don't have time to bake! Thanks for sharing!

Great cookies! I love almost anything with oatmeal! These were no exception!!!! Just delicious! I used coconut, and butterscotch chips - out of chocolate chips. They were still wonderful! This recipe is going straight into my favorites! Thanks Frenchbunny! Made for Spring 2009 PAC

After seeing the photos of this recipe, I knew they had to be made. So on 3/16/09 , I made them :). Since I'm the only one in my home that likes cookies with oatmeal, just half of the recipe was made.Putting coconut, and chocolate chips in a cookie recipe aren't just options, it's a requirement (at least for me it is :) ) I DON'T do raisins at all, so 3/4 cup of chopped pecans were used instead. Baking time and temp. were right on the money. This recipe will be made again, and again. Thanks for posting and,"Keep Smiling :)"
