Made these for sausage gravy and oh boy, they are soooo good!!! Not a hint of bisquick taste, just a yummy, flakey biscuit with a hint of sweetness.

These are awesome! I made "Bisquick" as I try not to buy things I can make myself. There is one left from dinner and I intend to get it!! Thank you Kay for sharing this great little recipe!

I've never made biscuits, bread, or anything from dough before, but these turned out excellent. They do taste like Cracker Barrel. I didn't have buttermilk, so I put some vinegar into the milk, stirred, and let it sit for 10 minutes. I'm using the left-overs to make cracker barrel meatloaf, which calls for their biscuits to be grated instead of crackers. Top notch biscuits.

I've never been to Cracker Barrel but these are very good biscuits! I always appreciate a Bisquick recipe, since their rising is so reliable. I got 6 fairly large biscuits. Thanks Kay, for posting. Roxygirl

This was a fantastic recipe. My husband should own stock in Cracker Barrel he loves the biscuits so much. When he tasted this recipe he said we were definatly in trouble. It looks like I will be making them 7 days a week for a while. Thanks

These are excellent tender biscuits. I can't believe the buttermilk made such a difference! This is my new favorite and easy biscuit recipe!

I can't believe I am the first to make and review this recipe. These biscuits are soooooooo good! Perfect in every way! The rise high, the are soft and tender and the flavor is amazing. They don't have a Bisquick flavor at all and they do taste like Cracker Barrell's yummy biscuits! I topped mine with apple jelly and another one with honey. Delicious!

These are phenomenal and I consider myself a biscuit queen. The dough was incredibly soft. I didn't use a roller because they kind of just fell into place on my board. A few pats with my hands and good to go. This will be my go-to recipe!
