      TOO much black pepper...ick...also, I am thinking I have read somewhere to take a small spoonful of meatloaf, pre-cooked, and pan fry or microwave it for a taste-test.

      so you know cracker barrel dont have a recipe cause thier meatloaf is shipped already made in a roll all the do is make the loaf and add ketsup on it

      This recipe was very good. I omitted the tomatoes, however and doubled the recipe for a larger loaf. I also used a half cup of bread crumbs instead of biscuits. It turned out really great!

      Thanks for sharing this lovely recipe. It had great flavor and a really soft texture. We really enjoyed the addition of the pepper, I used red, which worked perfectly in this dish. The next time I make this, I will add extra biscuits to help firm it up a bit more. The ketchup added a real blast of intense flavor, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Made for Spring Pac 2012

      This is a great meat loaf. I liked the addition of peppers and tomatoes. It didn't hold together as I had hoped but the flavor was terrific. Thanks for sharing. Made for Spring PAC 2012.
