Easy to make and oh so good! I did not have a lime, so I used one whole lemon. I think this recipe is better than steaming or microwaving like other recipes I have tried. P.S. did not use the optional salt.

All I have to say is "MMM GOOD!!" I omitted the salt in my butter and used garlic powder instead, but my snow crab legs [king crab was too expensive at the time :( ] came out tasting amazing! Thank you so much for this recipe.

Oh this was so good and yes have finger bowls and napkins on hand. I took JustJanS's suggestion and made in the electric frypan (no regular oven available in the holiday cabin we were in). I cooked 6 blue swimmers (quartered) and 3 of us couldn't quite get through the lot and there were 3 1/4's left which I picked the meat out off and with the butter which we hadn't mopped up and which I kept, I fried about tablespoon of the butter and the crab meat, adding some more fresh crab meat to make up about 1 1/2 cups of meat and then slowly added some cream to get the right consistency added some pepper and paprika and served over cooked linguine for the MIL and I (we loved it). Thank you Missykrissy66 for a great holiday recipe/memory.

I made this recipe as a brunch item for my birthday and it was a hit!! That was December 2015, and my friends and family have been asking me to make it for them ever since. I actually used the EVOO and butter when I sauteed my garlic and I added some additional seasonings to the sauce mixture like garlic powder (for that extra garlic flavor), onion powder and paprika. I will be making these again real soon!! Thanks!

Usually when I cook crab legs they are water logged.. This is by far the best way to cook them. It brings out the sweet flavor of the crab.

I usually grill my crab legs. But Michigan weather did not cooperate. So I googled crab baking recipes. I made this with trepidation. Seriously it was the most delicious crab dinner ever. I will never make it any other way. The butter in the pan was so delicious and was carmelized. My husband was looking for melted butter and I directed him to the pan instead. It was fantastic. Once you prepare crab legs this way you will never prepare it any other way. BTW we had 3 lbs of colossal crab legs and 25 minutes was perfect. Thank you for a fantastic recipe. ?

Tasted okay.... My garlic turned green/blue, some enzyme reaction between the garlic and lemon???? Aesthetically, very unappealing and put me off the whole dish... The recipe seemed to give multiple choices of citrus, next time orange or lime??? I still don't understand what happened. I use garlic and lemon together all the time and never experienced this...?

AMAZING! I will never make crab legs any other way again! Start with thawed legs. We used the injector too. SO DARN GOOD! We grated our garlic rather than minced. Baked our 25 mins. Best legs I've ever had!!

I didn't believe the unanimous 5 star rating for this recipe. After making this for dinner tonight.... I'm a believer!!! It is perfect as is. I will never boil crab legs again.
