Good for company coming choice! I was impressed by the combination of delicious flavors going on with this dish. I love crab, so whenever I see a recipe others are raving about, I am going to try it. This one was a pleasant surprise and wonderful!

Loved it! Made some adjustments to the recipe and still taste incredibly yummy! Skipped the pimiento, and sherry wine and replaced them with red pepper flakes and white wine. Added green peas and sour cream and the texture came out creamier and with a bit of crunch from the peas! Couldnt get hold of the ramekins so I just placed them in a foil of 6 muffin cups. Was quick, easy and delicious! Thank you! :)

Heaven in a ramekin... Elegant, but so easy to make. Thanks!

As the last poster, I also changed some things due to diet concerns, and also so that I could use what was on-hand. I only used one stick of butter (margarine, actually), and I thought that was plenty. I used 1 cup 2% and 1 cup of skim milk in place of the half and half. I used Club Soda (strange, I know, but it was the only thing I had that was bubbly) instead of the Sherry. For the crab I used two cans, which, I think only came to 14 ounces or so. I didn't use as much cheese on top. I really enjoyed it though. It came out almost like a thick soup. I will definitely make it again and possibly with more accurate ingredients next time :). Thanks

Oh my! This is stupefyingly FANTASTIC! I'm on a diet so I drastically reduced the amount of butter, half and half and cheese (I cut all 3 of these ingredients to 1/4 of the amount specified in the recipe) and kept the amount of crab and veggies the same. It was soooooo good, still very creamy and incredibly decadent. I loved this and I relish the day when I make this with the full amount of butter and cream! I will most certainly make this again. My family would go crazy for this! You clearly had great culinary talents, Amy. Your spirit lives eternal through your fantastic recipes.

I am a sucker for crab recipes and when I saw this one (about 3 days ago 05/10/07)I made it for myself and a few friends. We were all pleasantly surprised! It was delicious! As Amy said, she could eat it for a week so could I! I used 3 tablespoons pimento, I used both white and yellow cheddar, and added a sprinkling of crushed red pepper flakes and chopped fresh parsley. Sorry, that I added my two cents to the recipe but it was personal preference - I'm sure Amy would have liked it was well.
