Easy to make, delicious to eat. Since you can only cook a few at a time, many of them will never make it to the table.
- 1 lb crabmeat
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 dozen wonton wrappers
- In a small mixing bowl, stir together softened cream cheese, crab meat, onions, and garlic. Heat oil for deep frying to 350 F - 375°F.
- Place about 1/2 teaspoon filling in center of wrapper. Moisten edges with water, fold into triangle over filling, then pull two ends together and seal.
- Deep fry a few at a time 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce. Plum sauce or sweet and sour sauce work well.
