Crab or Shrimp Stuffed Mushrooms

"Heavenly seasoned with creamy, sweet, roasted garlic. Don't skimp on the garlic. The bulb will mellow and sweeten after it is roasted. This can be made with crab, shrimp or both. Made for RSC #14 but could submit only 3."

Questions & Replies

  1. Two kinds of cheeses in the ingredients, do you make a topping for the shrimp/crab mixture, or mix it in?

  2. Do you not use them stems in the mixture? I do not see them in the recipe instructions

Reviews

  1. I tried this recipe while rushing to bring an appetizer to a Christmas dinner. (never a good idea). But I prepared it, put it in cold bag w/ice packs, traveled 45 minutes and cooked it on site. It was delicious. I have always loved crab stuffed mushrooms, but this recipe w/shrimp was better than any I've ever had...including one from an exclusive restaurant w/a mornay sauce. It took everyone about 15 minutes to polish off every single one.
