For years, DH has been on a quest for the perfect margarita, and in that time I tried many a version that I felt was not quite right. The other night he made the Coyote Margarita, and when I tried it, I said, "this is it" and will be my margarita recipe of choice from now on. DH also really liked it. He likes a little stronger hint of tequila, so he added an extra splash to the finished version. Thank you so much for posting this keeper!

I used stevia instead of sugar and I think that worked well. The flavor was not as sweet so I'm not faulting the recipe for that. We used Jose Cuervo ... I'm thinking I need to try some other tequilas to find my perfect match. Otherwise I'm finally making not only a drinkable but quite enjoyable martini! Thanks!

I love cooking and trying different foods, but my favorite cookbooks are now Weight Watchers or low fat/low cal cookbooks as I tend to try and make low fat/low cal recipes. I lost over 90 pounds on Weight Watchers and have maintained for over a year now -- so my cooking/eating habits have changed drastically following my weight loss and to keep it off!
