CHOCOLATE ALERT !!!
- In a double boiler over simmering water, melt chocolate chips and shortening,stirring until smooth.
- Remove from the heat:Stir in raisins and almonds.
- Drop by tablespoonfuls onto wax paper.
- Chill until ready to serve.
My kids and I had a blast making these last night for a class party today. My daughter just called me from school, they were the hit of the party, went faster than anything else there. The only change I made was to use semi-sweet chocolate chips, and a mix of almonds and peanuts. These are the sweetest smelling cow pies I've ever seen!
