I have been trying a lot of bread recipes out recently, and this is the first that didn't sink in the last half hour of cooking. (Which creates a cavity in my bread, making it awkward to cut and also strangely shaped slices!) It turned out to be a super fluffy, spongy bread that was consistent throughout. Not to mention, it was delicious! I am saving this recipe!

Since I have been watching my carbs, i haven't had bread in few months. Being Thanksgiving, I decided to not really worry about carbs and have a little "cheat day" (but did use Splenda in place of sugar). This bread = completely worth it! Thank you!

have tried several different recipes trying to find the best one I have finally found it with this recipe!! This is the best bread I have ever had!! Almost as good as Grandmothers homemade bread!!

This recipe does well in my bread machine! In fact, I used my machine for several months (and tried lots of "so so" concoctions) before finding this perfect recipe for yummy, yeasty goodness. I have tried it both as a loaf on my basic bread setting and used the dough for rolls. Either way is good but the convenience of baking it off in the machine instead of dividing it for rolls wins out most of the time. The baked bread comes out with lots of tiny airy holes and is so tender unlike a lot of recipes I've tried. It has a nice crisp on the outside when it comes out of the bread machine still warm. This bread is a vehicle for lots of high quality butter or olive oil!

I had high hopes for this and frankly have never put egg into a bread recipe so was a little leery of it. I used all fresh ingredients, followed all the instructions and the bread was dense, had lots of holes and was very eggy. I won't be using this one again.

These are the best rolls ever......I have been making them for years....I make hoagie rolls with this recipe my family absolutely loves them.....always get compliments on them....I have used several different types of bread flour and my favorite flour is King Arthur.....if you can't get that White Lily is my second choice....DO NOT alter or make any changes to this recipe....they are so easy to make and very very delicious.....you will never be disappointed in these.....also I have used a pizza dough recipe on here for years also....easy peezy pizza dough.....very good and easy also......
