Followed a previous reviewers helpful hint and added more salt, and these came out fabulous. This will be my go-to bread from now on. Its' really great!
I just used this recipe for stromboli. It was delicious. It blended perfectly with the innards of the stromboli. Definitely a keeper. I didn't use a bread machine, but used my KitchenAid mixer to mix and knead. Practically effortless. No need to buy bread dough when this is so simple and delicious! Enoy!
#272nd reviewer! We really liked these rolls as they were beautiful, light and so very tender! The only thing I'd change next time is to add about 1/4 tsp. more salt. Each bite seemed just a tad bland, needing an extra something. I did sub one cup of the white bread flour for whole wheat to give it a touch of wholesomeness. I will be making these again for sure. So simple and comforting! Thanks DDW!
I make this dough into dinner rolls using ny breadmachine. I don't change a thing, and they are wonderful.
Be berrry berry kareful not to over-bake
Made these twice today for Thanksgiving! Everybody loved them. Thanks for a great recipe
This is the only recipe I will use for bread and rolls from now on! My family loves it! Thanks!!!!
Outstanding comes to mind. I have been in search of the elusive dinner rolls that my Husbands Grandmother used to make-mind you I never met her and he is going from memory. I made this recipe yesterday using my Kitchen-Aid. After mixing I let it knead for 8 minutes then proofed, punched down and followed your instructions. I loved them-my husband is thrilled and told me to throw out any other recipe for dinner rolls-these "are the one!" Light and tender rolls, easy to make, delightful to eat! thanks for posting! Di;-)
DH loved this said it was much better than store bought bread thanks so much for my new staple recipe would have given this a ten but five was as high as it would go
