I got this recipe from Loretta Lynn's Cookbook. I made this and my family really enjoyed this. One of our favorites.
- In a skillet fry all the sausage patties over medium heat until cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- Stir the flour into the sausage drippings. Slowly add the milk and salt and pepper to taste. Stir constantly and more milk if necessary.
- Crumble the cooked sausage into the gravy mixture. Continue stirring until the gravy is rich and creamy.
- Serve over toast or biscuits.
