  1. Julienne all vegetables to 1/4 inch thickness.
  2. Julienne ham (fat trimmed) to 1/4 inch thickness.
  3. Melt butter in a large wok or saute pan over medium heat.
  4. Add red pepper, yellow pepper, green pepper, turnips or jicama, onion, ham and garlic.
  5. Squeeze lemon juice over mixture.
  6. Stir and toss until all vegetables are well coated with butter.
  7. Add 2 Tbsp of water, continue stirring until all vegetables are tender.
  8. Salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Transfer to serving platter and serve with rice or pasta.
