Country Cupboard Creamed Cabbage

"A creamed cabbage recipe from a local country resteraunt."

• Ingredients: 8
• Yields: 1 1/2 qts
• Serves: 10-12

ingredients

• 3 lbs cabbage (1 large head)
• 2 -3 stalks celery
• 1 carrot
• 1 1⁄2 cups sugar
• 1⁄2 cup vinegar
• 1 1⁄2 cups mayonnaise
• 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
• 1 dash black pepper

directions

1. Shred Cabbage.
2. Chop Celery and Carrot (fine).
3. Mix the Vinager, sugar, and mayonaise together.
4. Combine all ingerdiants in a large bowl.
5. Let sit for 2 hour before serving.
6. For best results allow to sit overnight.
